A glimpse into Gables by The Sea's 2014 sales

Real estate has been pretty busy in Gables by The Sea with 19 total sales in 2014.  And if you thought this gated community in Coral Gables is out of your financial reach, think again: transactions were recorded between $635,000 and $2.895 million; not too shabby for an in demand neighborhood that offers anywhere from dry lot homes to canal front homes with bay access.  The following three properties offer a sneak peek into what you can expect should you decide to purchase your Gables by The Sea home in 2015.

Gables by The Sea1074 San Pedro Avenue, Coral Gables was sold for $2.7 million in the second half of the year and features: 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom and a 2-car garage with more than 4,000 square feet of space.  It is a renovated 2-story property on the canal with no bridges to impede you from accessing the bay.  It is situated on a 12,000 square foot lot and has a pool.

The next sale I would like to feature is also located on San Pedro Avenue, 901 San Pedro Avenue, Coral Gables.  It was on the market for just 24 days and sold for $1.620 million; it is another waterfront property with no bridges to the bay.  With a split bedroom plan consisting of 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms plus 2 half bathrooms, this more than 4,500 square foot home features a fireplace in the living room (very pretty to look at while we wear our year-round tropical garments), game room and 40 foot dock - all on a 12,000 square foot lot.  It is noted that it is in need of renovation but at this price for this grand Coral Gables community, it was a great deal.

Finally, we come to Gables by The Sea’s lowest sale.  Recorded at $635,000, 1460 Campamento Avenue, Coral Gables is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2-car garage home with a bit more than 2,400 square feet of space on a nearly 10,600 square foot lot.  Even though it is a dry lot home, its new homeowner will enjoy its spacious covered terrace with pool (besides its circular driveway and spacious interior rooms).
